Marvin Jr. is an Avid plugin developed using their Panel SDK, which allows you to perform batch actions on sequences and clips, all without leaving Media Composer. Keep your eyes on the timeline with Marvin Jr.
batch edit shot IDs & descriptions
Marvin Jr. is the only software that can separately update VFX shot IDs and descriptions in marker comments, thus allowing you to use both throughout the entire cutting process. Perform batch actions on just the data that needs it — in mere moments.
auto-number vfx shots
Do you need to number 200 shots across 10 scenes or VFX sequence codes? What if they’re all intercut? Marvin Jr. can automatically generate shot IDs for every VFX marker in seconds, even if it already includes a work description.
prep shot turnovers in minutes
Marvin Jr. can perform the complex task of adding plate name suffixes to shot IDs while simultaneously removing the VFX work descriptions from markers. You can now prep pull orders in a fraction of the time it would take to do manually.
select hundreds of clips in seconds
The multi-find action lets you search for, select, and update a group of clips in a matter of seconds. Quickly cross-reference a list of final versions against an “All VFX” bin that contains thousands of submissions.
world premiere at NAB Show
